Forshadow: Time and Space
I wanted to create my own depiction of how time and space interact in my own life. McLuhan discussed how nowadays time and space seem to be one. I aimed to show this in my video by going back and forth between two different scenes. I am on my way walking to work at the information desk, and then switch to a scene of me working, go back to me walking, then to a scene of working at the desk. It is as if I am anticipating what will happen at work as I am on my way, a forshadow; that was the goal.

This video was so cool. I loved the dualism that you provided with the color choices. Even though a story line might not be necessarily screaming out, I definitely filled the film with my own ideas and loved watching your journey.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how or why, but the white socks made your video 200% cooler. I think it's little quirks like that that make a video memorable. Like, when I watch a random video on YouTube, sometimes I remember the way somebody pronounced something, or how their hair was.
ReplyDeleteMaybe try to keep up the quirkiness in your future works? I'd love to see what you do for the next project (just imagined a series of 100 pictures of people wearing white socks…huh…must be feeling random tonight. Who knows? Could work).
